Who is InvestTechFX?
Investtechfx is a software solutions company, providing the MT4 trading platform for online Forex trading. Investtechfx is regulated by the Forex Dealing Association and registered under I-F-S-A. As a Forex ECN, No Dealing Desk (NDD) utilizing Straight Thru Processing (STP), we do not provide liquidity.
How does Investtechfx process the clearing transactions for Forex deals?
Investtechfx processes the clearing transactions for all Forex deals through the Interbank, which is the main liquidity provider, taking all of Investtechfx"s deals in the international Forex trading market, and processing over $100 trillion in trades per day.
Deposits, Withdrawals & Trading Account Maintenance
How do I deposit funds into my real trading account?
To fund your real trading account online, please continue to our website www.investtechfx.com and choose your method of payment, found on our homepage. We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Moneybookers and Bank wire. Once we receive confirmation of receipt of funds, we will credit your real trading account so you can begin trading immediately. For bank wire transfers, we require a minimum deposit of US$ 1,000. You will need to send us a bank wire confirmation by email if you choose to deposit by this method. We will credit your real trading account right away, so you don"t have to wait for the funds to clear (normally 3-4 business days).
When can I speak to someone live?
You can talk to someone live from 5PM to 5PM EST, Sunday thru Friday, support available 24/5.
What do I need to do to become a customer of Investtechfx?
Please continue to www.investtechfx.com and click on the Green icon "open a real trading account" in order to open your real trading account. You will need to provide a photocopy of one official government issued ID or passport and proof of residence or utility bill, as written in the instructions.
How do I withdraw funds from my real trading account?
In order to process a request for the withdrawal of funds, please send us an email with the amount that you wish to withdraw, as well as instructions regarding how you wish to receive the funds (Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Moneybookers, or Bank wire). Please include your trading account number in the email in order for us to process your request as quickly and efficiently as possible. You will need to send us full details regarding the account that will be receiving the funds (i.e. for MoneyBookers we will need your MoneyBookers account, for a Bank Wire we will need your Bank details). For withdrawals, we ask that you give us up to 72 hours to process your request.
I have money in my real trading account, but I am unable to trade on your MT4 platform. Why?
As stated on Investtechfx"s website, in order to trade there is a minimum requirement of US $100. Please make sure that there are sufficient funds in your account. If you are still unable to trade, please send us an email with your account number to support@investtechfx.com such that we can verify your account details and resolve the issue.
Are there any account maintenance fees for having an account with Investtechfx?
There is no charge to maintain a real trading account with us.
Are there any commission fees on deposits?
There are no commission fees to deposit funds to your real trading account.
Are the funds I deposited in my real trading account insured?
Investtechfx insures accounts with a minimum of US$100 up to a maximum of US$100K. For any amount above US$100K, our customers can purchase a special insurance policy. All customer funds" are separate from Investtechfx"s funds and commitments and controlled independently.
I have not used my real trading account for a while and now it is not active. What do I have to do to reactivate my trading account?
Trading Accounts from which all funds have been withdrawn and/or that have not been active for over 90 days will be considered inactive. To reactivate an account, please send an email to info@investtechfx.com including the trading account number requesting to reactivate the trading account.
How long will my demo trading account be active?
Demo trading accounts are usually active for at least 90 days.
Can I sign up for an account regardless of what country I live in?
Investtechfx accepts and welcomes customers from most parts of the world. Investtechfx has an anti-discrimination policy and we accept clients without regard to race, creed, color, national origin or sex. We have many happy customers all over the world. Sorry, Investtechfx does not provide service for U.S customers.
Technical Questions & Difficulties
I am having trouble using my Expert Advisors (EA) or Robot Dealer service on your platform. What could be the problem?
We have many customers worldwide that successfully use EAs with our MT4 platform. We recommend that you contact the company from which you purchased the EA to see if there is technical support for this issue. MQL4 is the official website of the MT4 platform for technical issues with EA"s and can be found at www.mql4.com. If there is a fee incurred for solving this problem, we will be happy to credit your trading account for up to $100, upon submission of proper documentation. Please remember that Investtechfx is not responsible for any functions or losses incurred due to the use of an EA.
Are all market orders instantaneous?
All of Investtechfx’s executions are Electronic and therefore they are instantaneous market orders. In rare instances, due to high volatility or news events, there is a difference between the entry order and market price. This results from the fraction of a second it takes for the information to travel from your computer to our server, on to the clearing department and back to your computer.
I am unable to login successfully or I am having technical difficulties running the MT4 platform on my computer. How can I solve this problem?
Investtechfx apologizes for any inconvenience you have had resulting from technical difficulties. In order to provide technical support for such issues, please send us a “screenshot” of the problem along with your real trading account # to support@investtechfx.com. Please include in this email a small description of the issue so we can reply with the appropriate response in a timely fashion.
Do I have to notify Investtechfx if I am using an Expert Advisor or Robot Dealer service?
All customers are required to notify Investtechfx by email of the use of an Expert Advisor or Robot Dealer service, prior to commencing real trading.
Can I use a VPS (Virtual Private Server) or additional program with the MT4 platform?
Outside servers and additional programs are allowed. However, Investtechfx claims no responsibility for any malfunctions that may occur due to the use of outside products, such as extra servers or accessories.
Trading Account Options & Expert Advisor (EA)
What is the difference between using my demo account and using my real trading account?
Investtechfx’s demo and real trading accounts are identical. However, in the real trading account the trader is using real money.
What are the benefits and bonuses of opening a trading account?
By funding the trading account, customers are eligible to enroll in our "Dollar$ for Dollar$" program, and receive 100% trading bonus. Terms and conditions apply.
Am I allowed to trade on Mini and Micro lots in my trading account?
There are no limits on the size of trading you do, regardless of the type of trading account you have. Customers are welcome to trade on Mini or Micro lots with any type of trading account. These are Mini 0.1 lot and Micro 0.01 lots. 0.1 is a mini lot ($10K lot size) and 0.01 is a micro lot ($1K lot size).
Can I run two different trading accounts simultaneously on my computer?
It is possible to download and run two platforms on the same computer. In order to do this, the platforms simply need to be saved on your computer with different names (for example: “MT401 platform 1” and “MT402 platform 2” ). Once the platforms have different names you will be able to run two different trading accounts simultaneously. I am a professional trader and I have several clients for which I use your trading platform. Is it possible to run all of their trading accounts at the same time?
If you have two or more customers, we will send you a link to download the Multi-Terminal version of our platform, which will allow you to trade for different clients simultaneously. The Multi-Terminal is suitable for IB"s, Affiliates, and Account Managers.
Does Investtechfx charge Fees on ECN orders?
Fees applies only to ECN orders using EA & Scalping at a rate of $5 per Lot. All exchange and regulatory fees included. Manuals orders are not subject to any Fees.
Trading Account Issues
While trading, one or more of my positions abruptly closed without my consent. Why did this occur and is this a result of a technical issue with the MT4 platform?
Investtechfx is an Electronic Communication Network(ECN), as well as No Dealing Desk (NDD) and Straight Through Processing(STP). The MT4 is a software solution and we do not provide the liquidity with which you can trade in the Forex market. All deals are executed through the clearing department and are performed completely electronically. Investtechfx has no interest, influence or control over the success or failure of the deals completed by our customers. Each customer is solely responsible for his or her own positions within the Forex market.
Will I ever experience slippage while trading with Investtechfx"s platform MT4?
All limits the client sets are on the dot. Whether you set a stop loss, trailer stop, or take profit, you can expect the price to be exactly the one you set.
What fees should I expect while trading with Investtechfx?
You can expect no fees while trading with Investtechfx. We guarantee that you will not pay commission, inactivity fees, and rollovers. We want to make your trading experience as smooth as possible.
Will I ever experience re-quotes?
You will never experience a re-quote. Once you click to make an order, the order is immediately processed and you will not need to click again.
Are there any risks involved in Forex Trading?
Please remember that the Forex market is a high-risk and highly volatile market. In situations where there is low liquidity in the market and/or high volatility, the clearing department decreases the level of leverage available for a short period of time. Due to this decrease in leverage some customer positions that have high exposure at that time are automatically closed. Please note that each person trading in the market is responsible for the amount of positions open at any given time as well as the leverage ratio at which he or she chooses to trade. In extreme circumstances, this can require adjustment in order to respond to fluctuations of the Forex market. This is especially true in a case where you are trading exotics or crosses pairs. These are generally the first positions to close when the clearing department reduces the amount of leverage in the Forex market. We recommend that in situations like this, the customer re-opens their position at a smaller lot size.
Are the spreads fixed and what kind of leverage can I get?
All spreads for 6 major currency pairs are fixed at all times, and do not vary according to fluctuations in the Forex market. For standard accounts, we guarantee a 0.5 pip spread. Sometimes, due to liquidity issues in the financial markets, the spreads for crosses and exotics are raised. We guarantee that our spreads will always be the lowest in the world, but sometimes they can be widened due to high volatility in the marketplace. Customers can choose the leverage with which they want to trade, varying between 1:10 up to 1:500.
Can I lose more than my margin or my deposit?
You can never lose more than your initial deposit. We recommend that customers put a stop loss limit on every trade, as security for your deposit. However, even if you do not put a stop loss limit and your remaining margin is depleted, your trading account will be automatically shut down at that point.
What is the benefit of working with an NDD?
Investtechfx is a No Dealing Desk (NDD) and a software solutions company, providing customers with the MT4 platform for their trading purposes. We are an Electronic Communications Network (ECN) broker, and we have no interest in and no control over a customer"s position. Investtechfx profits from the total turnover of our customers worldwide. Our aim is that all of our customers will make constant profit, and continue to trade with Investtechfx. We are not a liquidity provider or Market Maker; all our data streaming (market quotes) is received from worldwide financial institutions and banks, and updated instantaneously online. Our fixed spreads are the lowest available on the Forex market. We do not add any extra pips on our spreads, as our profit is gained from the total turnover of our worldwide customers, not from the spread.

I was hoping to develop a business partnership with Investtechfx. Is this a viable option?
In order to evaluate a potential business partnership or qualification as an Introducing Broker (IB) or Affiliate, please send us information on your company or your private organization, including the potential customer base, the level of deposits of these potential customers and, in general, how you believe we could work together to generate business. As soon as we receive these details and a proposal, we can tailor an offer based on what we believe will be mutually beneficial.
What is a VIP Account?
Investtechfx VIP Accounts are for customers that had balance $20K or above on their real trading account. Annual rebate of $1/lot traded upon maturity, VIP personal assistance 24/5.
